House work

Well it has only been 19 days since we moved back and we have been so very busy and if you subtract the days we have spend in Pasadena I think it is closer to 15 days in our house. In that short time we have accomplished some major work.

Moved in and completely unpacked (thanks to all)
Repairs to the Washer and Dryer (hired out)
Repair to the Dishwasher... We did it!
Carpets Cleaned
Drapes cleaned
Backyard cleaned up (we removed with the help of Alfonso and Ray over 3 yard bins of trash.)
Replacement of the air conditioning unit.
Redecorating the living room (new bookshelf, rug and chair)
Organized the garage
Brought Simba home
Built a new fence and gate
Purchased and assembled a new kitchen table and 6 chairs
Landscaped the front garden (thanks Scotty)
Updated look and furniture in the kids room (thank Mom)
Cleaned up a lot of black dog hair (thanks everyone!)
Began hanging decorations
Hooked up computer, but still needs internet
Replace showerheads
Shore up fencing around property to keep the dogs in
Clean up tree house of spider infestations

This week's highlights (only 3 days this week)
Purchased and assembled a new desk for Zach
We bought a vanity, counter, mirror, medicine cabinet and faucet
Patch holes in the walls
Installed new touch pad thermostat
We started re-painting our bath room and bedroom
We purchased a canopy for the back yard

Next week we have a lot more work to do....
Finish painting doors and baseboards in the master bed/bath
Install cabinets, mirror, countertop and faucet
Hang new closet door
Seal the new fence and gate
Erect canopy for the back yard
Replace outlets and light switches in master bed/bath

If anyone is eager to get messy I have a lot more projects that we can explore together.....
