Live blogging from the Russell Christmas

we drove out to simi valley to celebrate Christmas with april extended family. There is about thirty people here which makes things pretty loud.
Here is the first gift of 2008!


3:40PM. Zach opened his gifts, world of Warcraft time card, a beanie & a uncirculated two dollar bill that is accented in gold lead (pretty cool. (thinking when do we eat?)
4:14 PM. Dinner must be ready, smoke alarm is going off
4:39 PM dinner is over. Ham, pork loin, taters, sweet potatoes and salad. Good eats but it is getting cold outside really fast.
5:34 PM I opened my present. It appears April said I wanted pink panties. Size 8.
6:05 PM we are still slowly going through presents. Very different than the Haase house where there are seven presents being opened in unison.
6:06 PM April just opened her present ... An extra large trivial pursuit game. I am talking three feet long.
6:25 PM. Where is the alcohol?
