How can it be that our little baby is heading to the second grade?
This morning April and I dropped her off and stood with her as the
kids in room eleven waited nervously for their teacher Mr's snow to
pick them up. There were several kids in the class that she knew from
kindergarten which should make the first day a little less nerve
racking for Madison. Going to school in Valencia is so much different
then what it was like last year in Omaha. First you actually have
minority populations here, as "white" as the SCV is it is nothing
compared to the whiteness of west Omaha. The next major difference
that you see is how made up these parents get to drop their kids
offend head home to oprah and bonbons. Tim could be right that this is
the new silicone valley. I would share some photos to prove my point
but I could not find a way to covertly photo these plastic people. I
will however share a photo of Madison on her big day.
