On Thursday night we once again went to James Foster and participated in Back to School Night... It was our first chance to meet Madison's new teacher and get an understanding of what will be covered this year. It seems that standards are pretty low compared to the charter school Madison attended last year. Every night last year she had math, english and 5 new spelling words to learn... This year she has 2 pages a WEEK! and 10 spelling words (this week she has words like Fox, and Hen). Math does not seem to be challanging either with the end of the year getting all the way up to 2 digit subtraction. She has already done this!!! It appears that we are going to have to push her ourselves...

Welcome to the Reimers Family Blog
Hello Reader,
I am amazed at the huge number of people who actually come in (and return) to this site. There are hits from all over the United States and even some people viewing from outside the country.
It is a difficult job to update with any regularity so please send me a note or comment under each post and let me know you are reading!
