Soda vs. Pop

One of the oddities since moving to Nebraska is that people speak a very different language here... Grocery Bags are now called Sacks... and Coke/Soda is now called Pop.

The Kum and Go (gas station convienent store) is running an online vote at http://www.pop-vs-soda.com/ to make a final decision about what it is we are drinking. The ads in the stores are very hillarious with these cartoon characters vowing to leave the country if pop or soda wins the vote.
