Busy, Busy, Busy

What a very busy weekend! We were jammed packed this weekend... here is a quick recap

Friday Evening is practice day: Zach with his guitar (he learned 2 new cords G7 and C) and Madison with Softball.

Saturday Morning: Hope had her first softball game which started 3 hours late as we had some heavy rain Friday evening.... It was so much fun watching these little 4 year olds play ball. By the thrid inning the skies opened up and the coach says "we can go another inning, right". The parents all moan but not deterred they contined in the downpour.

Saturday Afternoon: After the game we headed to the Rose Theater to see a play based on the books Horrible Harry. The kids enjoyed it and sat so transfixed on the play (even Brody).... Thanks Marjorie for the tickets and the invite!!!!

Saturday Evening: April and I stopped by a Birthday Party for Jim's 30th birthday... We showed up after 9PM and since the party started earlier that afternoon it goes without saying some people were well past intoxicated... Here is my favorite pick of some dumb a$$ driving the lawn mower.....

Sunday Morning: Mother's Day.... April had a wonderful breakfast in bed with Raspberry/Cholcolate waffles, bacon and fresh strawberries. She opened her gifts and we played Wii the rest of the morning.....

Sunday Mid Day: We headed to the zoo to try and see the new butterfly exhibit... IT WAS CLOSED. We still had a great time with Linda and the Lusk clan.... Check out the photo of the kids posing with the Orangutan.

Sunday Afternoon: Madison had her first softball game on Sunday afternoon... She had a great game playing second (twice), first base and catcher. She did well batting making some good contact from the coach pitch. She was so nervous but had a great time! (more photos here)

Sunday Evening: the kids and I took April to Mother's Day dinner at the Melting Pot (Kids eat free Sunday!).

Welcome to the Reimers Family Blog

Hello Reader,

I am amazed at the huge number of people who actually come in (and return) to this site. There are hits from all over the United States and even some people viewing from outside the country.

It is a difficult job to update with any regularity so please send me a note or comment under each post and let me know you are reading!
