Zachary this past week informed us that he had a girlfriend. As odd as it sounded we went along with it... How much trouble can a boy as innocent as Zach get into. The first day he told us her name was Berlin... he was not sure if that was a nickname or her real name, there was no last name, no phone numbers...nothing but the notion that he had a girlfriend.
The next day he came home with a photo of THAT GIRL.... but still no phone numbers (thank God). It appears that a "girlfriend" in eigth grade means that they 'hang out' and hug when they say hello and goodbye. They were hanging out in the click before they were an item.
Well as quickly as they become a 'couple' the heartbreak has occured. Zach was dumped today at school... Berlin (her real name) was told by her dad that she can't have a boyfriend. While I am happy at the thought that Zach can focus on other things I know when I get home he will be hurt by THAT GIRL.
